What that means is say you load Donkey Kong, if you reset the Atari, Donkey Kong appears again - the PicoCart is functioning as a Donkey Kong cart at that point. But you reset the Pico Cart with the button, then hit reset on the Atari, you get the A8PicoCart menu again.
